2020 SCHOOL COUNSELOR OF THE YEAR

Rhonda Ramirez

   

Rhonda Ramirez, a Lead School Counselor at Naaman Forest High School, in Garland, Texas, has been named the 2020 Texas School Counselor of the Year by the Lone Star State School Counselor Association (LSSSCA).

She is the fourth person to receive the award from the association.  Rhonda, is a graduate of Baylor University has been a school counselor for 14 years and has been at Naaman Forest High School for eight years. The School Counselor of the Year award honors professionals who devote their careers to advocating for the nation’s students and addressing their academic and social/emotional development and college and career readiness needs.

  LSSSCA is proud to announce this year’s Lone Star State School Counselor of the Year is Nwakaego Edordu, from Billy E. Dade Middle School from the Dallas Independent School District.

Cristina Nunez

  LSSSCA is proud to announce Cristina Nunez as the 2017 LSSSCA School Counselor of the Year. Cristina is from Soccoro ISD.
